Welcome to the Tahoe Park Cottage, a cozy and inviting 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin with a spacious loft and beautifully landscaped yard—perfect for a peaceful retreat, romantic honeymoon, or fun-filled family escape.

Inside, you’ll find a queen bed in the main bedroom downstairs and two twin beds in the upstairs loft, ideal for kids or extra guests. The fully equipped kitchen features a gas range, microwave, blender, and everything you need for home-cooked meals—from pots and pans to dishes and utensils, although there is no dishwasher.

The living room includes a television with streaming capabilities, and the loft has another TV—perfect for the kids. There’s also an iPod docking station with a small stereo, and the convenience of a full-size washer and dryer.

Step outside into the backyard oasis, where you’ll find a flagstone patio with a cozy sofa-style seating area, a table and umbrella, plus an additional table with chairs and a second umbrella—along with a gas BBQ—creating the perfect setting for relaxing or dining al fresco under the pines.

Located just 2.5 miles south of Tahoe City, this gem is in the heart of the magical West Shore, walking distance to Sunnyside Restaurant, Firesign Café, West Shore Market, and the lake.

As a member of the Tahoe Park Beach Association, guests enjoy access to

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby hiking and biking trails, and in winter, you're just minutes from Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows), Homewood Mountain Resort, and around 35 minutes to Northstar.

This home does not allow any parties or events as it is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm to 8am. Thanks for your cooperation!

The cleaning fee includes linens and towels. You may want to bring beach towels, as those are not provided.

This Cottage has an electric fence system to protect it from bears when unoccupied. Detailed instructions will be given to you once booked. This must be turned ON when leaving the cabin, even if just for a few hours.

Nightly rent plus tax, cleaning fee, reservation fee, and vacation rental damage protection plan are required on all rentals.

**The loft area is only available to use during the winter lease. It is not accessible during the summer months.

  The absolute perfect location & little cabin! I stayed solo and felt safe in the peaceful neighborhood. The beach, market, & restaurants were down the street & so easy to get to since summer can get crowded. There is a campground that backs the property but everyone that camped there was quiet. House is well stocked. The bed, bedding & towels were all soft & comfy. Hosts were also so nice & quick to respond, they even let me check in early. Can’t wait to stay again.

  Overall we enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Just a few minor things had some issues with the drain in the shower and the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain much at all but we did let management know when they said it would be taken care of. Also the place overall was clean, except for my daughter that slept upstairs said there are some dog hair on the blanket on her bed. Which we probably noticed more than others might since we don’t have pets at home. Overall a great stay at a great location.

  We had a wonderful time staying here over the July 4th week. It is crowded in Tahoe at that time, and it was great to be able to park and then just walk or bike anywhere we wanted to go. We'd walk 3 minutes to all the Sunnyside amenities (Fire Sign Cafe, market, Tahoe Park owners beach, Sunnyside Lodge and boat rentals). It was an easy bike for dinner in Tahoe City and Homewood (highly recommend the West Shore Cafe in Homewood for a treat). The house was perfect for two of us, and we even had a friend stay in the cute (and big!) upstairs loft one night. It would work for 4 people who know each other well. The house was well-stocked, including propane for the BBQ. A few things to point out: the campground is right off of the back yard with only a post fence between. We had no problem with our tent neighbors, but the wrong group could spoil it. It was noisy just right at sundown as all of the happy camping kids wrapped up their days. The couch is a little sinky (but there are plenty of pillow to bolster it up). Otherwise, it was perfect.

  The Tahoe Park Cottage was small but perfect. Three of us were in town for a wedding and it was the perfect location. Close to the water/rental shops/restaurants/market. The house was clean and prepared nicely when we arrived. We had small issues with workers coming to work on the house or clean the hot tub that slightly interrupted our stay but nothing to make a huge deal about. All in all it was the perfect little house for our vacation. We would definitely stay here again!
