Marie's Getaway is a magnificent home with everything you'll need to enjoy a peaceful, pleasant vacation. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, loft/landing ares for extra sleeping, 2 full bathrooms plus 1 half bath in the hallway downstairs. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, gas range, microwave, dishwasher and everything you'll need to prepare any meal.

The television room has surround sound stereo system w/CD, Newer flatscreen TV, VCR, DVD, gas fireplace, and comfortable couches to relax in. The house is also equipped with internet access.

The game room/living room area is spacious and has a large gas fireplace, pool table, and dining room table to the side. French doors lead out to the enormous deck which also has patio furnishings, gas barbecue and hot tub!

This home also has access to the ever popular Tahoe Park Private Beach and is close to many hiking/biking trails.

This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is after 10pm. Thanks for your cooperation!

Cleaning fee includes linens, towels, and spa cleaning. You may want to bring spa/beach towels, as those are not provided.


Nightly rent plus tax, cleaning fee, reservation fee and vacation rental damage protection plan, required on all rentals.

November 1st to May 1st, there is NO street parking. You must park in driveway areas only.
There is parking for 4-5 cars at this house during winter months.

    My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marie's Getaway! Everything was perfect and just as described. We will definitely try to stay here again - next time we will bring other friends or family members as the house would be perfect for a few more people. Also, the property management company was extremely profession and everything was explained to a T.

    Location was in a nice quiet area just south of Tahoe City. Lots of trees and nature right next to the cabin. It is definitely up some steep roads though, so winter conditions might be a bit hairy.

    Cabin was spotless and in excellent condition. Beds were comfortable and there were ample linens and towels available to guests. The cabin has wi-fi and it's pretty good for the area. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, and the gill worked perfectly. The den has a huge pool table for entertainment as well as a table tennis surface you can place on top of the pool table. However, the space around said table is limited, so you can't really sit in the den while people play. Patio is big and spacious with plenty of seating for larger groups. Hot tub works just fine. The management company was also very courteous and were very quick to respond to any questions or help we requested.

    The only issues we ran into were low water pressure and low hot water. Sometimes faucets and showers had low water pressure and hot water seemed to run out fairly quickly. We were a small group compared to what the cabin can fit, and even then showers ran out of hot water frequently. Also the private beach access gets surprisingly busy, especially on the weekends.

    Overall though, would highly recommend this property. It's in a great location, and a great place to just hang out in-between hiking and touring around the lake.

    The house is beautiful. It is the best outfitted Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Tahoe City is a great peace to wander and explore. Great neighborhood. My only complaint, and this isn’t on the house or the owners at all. We had a mechanical issue with one of our jet skis and asked if we could leave it anchored at Tahoe Park ( access to this private club comes with the house rental) and we were told that we could for 72 hours. Well they towed it the next day and we weren’t notified. The staff at Tahoe Park were rude and unhelpful. But other than that, the property is amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

    This house was absolutely what we were looking for. We have a larger size family and sometimes have a hard time finding homes that can accommodate us all and give us enough space for entertaining. This house not only had the space, but the deck also was very spacious and had newer, comfortable patio furniture which made our family vacation so relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped with all the basic needs and supplies. The game room was perfect for the teen age kids in our group and the hot tub was delightful after a long day’s hike! The private beach access to the Tahoe Park Beach was so nice to take advantage of. We had a nice BBQ and the kids were able to swim, play basketball and even sand volleyball! Then finally to top it all off there is a nice viewing point just up the street where we got to see one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. All in all, this house was hands down one of my favorite rentals in Lake Tahoe!! We will be renting this home again in the near future!
