The Balsam House is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on a quiet street in the Pineland area. This home has level access and is equipped with a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric range/oven, large stone fireplace and television with cable.

As you walk into the house, you enter the living room. The kitchen/dining area is to the left of the living area and there is one bedroom with a queen size bed, and one full bathroom (with tub/shower). Upstairs has the other two bedrooms, one with a queen, the other has 2 queen size beds and there is another full bathroom (with tub/shower) in the hall. There is also a nice sunny front deck that has patio furniture and a new gas Weber BBQ for your convenience.

This home is walking distance to Sunnyside Restaurant, has access to the popular Tahoe Park Private Beach; and you can also use the shuttle bus to get to the back side of Alpine Meadows during winter months!!

This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is after 10pm. Thanks for your cooperation!

Cleaning fee includes linens and towels. You may want to bring beach towels, as those are not provided.

There is an electric fence system at this house to protect it from bears when unoccupied. Detailed instructions will be given to you once booked.

    Everything was as we expected. The house was clean, in good condition and was conveniently located to town. We arrived a few hours early and Westlake Properties was very accommodating in allowing us to get into the home before our scheduled arrival.

    This house is in a great location. The house itself could use a lot of updating. New oven was great but no baking pans available. Had to buy them and potholders. Plenty of plates and utensils.Toilet upstairs barely flushes and the one downstairs wobbles. Love the serenity of the street though and the campground behind us. Julie took care of our internet needs immediately. Plenty of fans were provided to keep us cool. My husband repaired the bedframe, dresser drawer handles and changed lightbulbs. The location makes this house worth revisiting.

    Overall, this house is perfect for a budget ski lease. Its cheap and has a fantastic location for skiing squaw and alpine, but its amenities are minimal and outdated. My one critique for the experience would be to watch out for potential 'nickle and diming' upon the closing of the lease - the state of house leaves it open to that. That said, WLP managemnet was fantasticly helpful in all things related to the house, and even helped us get it one time when we forgot the key! Overall, we loved our time here and loved working with WLP.
