The McKinney Creek Cabin is a magnificent Log Cabin in McKinney Estates - This beautiful property consists of two homes; the main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; the guest house over the garage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main house boasts a large living area downstairs, complete with flatscreen TV, DVD player, gas fireplace, game table, 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen, the second bedroom has another queen size bed along with a twin bunk bed. There's also a common bathroom with a shower stall in the hall, stone and wood floors throughout, and a large back deck overlooking McKinney Creek. Upstairs is the kitchen, complete with everything you'll need to cook your favorite meal, formal dining room, sitting area, balcony, the primary bedroom which has a queen size bed and its own balcony, along another full bathroom with shower stall in the common area. The last balcony is just off the kitchen with a gas BBQ.
The main house is equipped with washer, dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, WIFI internet, games and plenty of sitting areas.
The guest house above the garage features a good-sized living space, a partial kitchen, a table for games, a small dining area, 2 more bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, and 1 full bathroom with a shower stall in the common area. The dining room table can comfortably seat 4 people, and there's also a television with cable, DVD and VCR players, gas woodstove, and a deck with a table and chairs (summer months only).
There is level access to this home and room to park one car in the garage and three more cars in the driveway.
Due to the unique construction of this log cabin, the upstairs bedroom walls do not reach the ceiling, the walls are of regular height, but they are open to the ceiling. Sound could easily travel from the living areas into the bedrooms.
This magnificent, classic log home is a short distance to world-class skiing at Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort, Homewood Mountain Resort, and Northstar at Tahoe!
This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation!
