The McKinney Creek Cabin is a magnificent Log Cabin in McKinney Estates - This beautiful property consists of two homes; the main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; the apartment over the garage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main house boasts a large living area downstairs, complete with flatscreen TV, DVD player, gas fireplace, game table, 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen, the second bedroom has another queen size bed along with a twin bunk bed. There's also a common bathroom with a shower stall in the hall, stone and wood floors throughout, and a large back deck overlooking McKinney Creek. Upstairs is the kitchen, complete with everything you'll need to cook your favorite meal, formal dining room, sitting area, balcony, the main bedroom which has a queen size bed and its own balcony, along another full bathroom with shower stall in the common area. The last balcony is just off the kitchen with a gas BBQ.

The main house is equipped with washer, dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, WIFI internet, games and plenty of sitting areas.

Above the garage is a separate apartment that features a good size living space, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, electric range, microwave, table for games, small dining area, 2 more bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and there is 1 full bahtroom with shower stall in the common area. The dining room table can seat 4 people comfortably and there's also a television with cable, DVD & VCR players, gas woodstove, dishwasher and a deck with a table and chairs (weather permitting).

There is level access to get to this home and room to park 1 car in the garage, and 3 more cars in the driveway.

Due to the unique construction of this log cabin, the upstairs bedroom walls do not reach the ceiling, the walls are of regular height, but they are open to the ceiling. This means sound could travel from the living areas into the bedrooms very easily.

This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is after 10pm. Thanks for your cooperation!

    This house is amazing. With rich textures and fine linens it welcomes you and takes you back in time to when life was simpler. A warm fireplace in the kitchen and anything you need to bake or cook a delicious dinner. The owner clearly put some thought into building it. Each room is a delight. There is a nice spot off the dinning room that back up to tall trees where you can just relax and breathe. Games and books are stocked. We didn't even use the internet. If you need to escape this crazy life right now, this house is truly a blessing.

    We had 11 people which included 4 kids this past weekend. The snow was beautiful this past weekend as well. The kitchen was equipped with anything you could possibly need to cook for a bunch of people. The house above the garage was also very nice!
    The house did get very very warm with the fireplace on the whole time since you can't turn off the gas valve. This wasnt too much of a problem since we could just open some windows. The only 2 problems we did have were the downstairs shower did not drain and flooded within minutes and the upstairs shower in the main house only dripped out water so it was unable to be used. Other than that we were very happy and for sure want to come back to this house in the summer.

    This neighborhood and home were exactly what we were looking for. We have a large family and having two cabins on the same property was perfect! We were able to put one family in the smaller cabin and the other family in the main house. There was plenty of space for all of us in the main house, but it was nice being able to spend some alone time with just our family in the smaller cabin as we have younger children that required an earlier bedtime. The house was stunning with beautiful woodwork throughout and detailed decorations in every room. The location was AMAZING as well. We had a stream just out our back door and was within walking distance to the public part of the Chamberland’s Beach and not to mention the bar (I highly recommend the Chambers Punch). Then just down the street there were several hiking trails that lead us to absolute beauty and relaxation and was easy for everyone in the family including the kids! We will be renting this property again!
