Welcome to Tahoe at the Stine Haus! Granite rock entry with log rails leads to the upstairs great room. Pine ceilings and wood floors warm the open floor plan highlighted by the gas fireplace with river rock surround and log mantle. Enjoy the big game on the flat-screen TV while you host one of your own games at the Foosball table. All day sun bounds thru windows on three sides and the slider in the dining room leads to a south facing deck. Step outside and enjoy the Tahoe air or an easy summer BBQ – outdoor table and chairs and BBQ weather permitting. Cook a gourmet meal in this fully equipped kitchen decked out with granite slab counters, stainless appliances and gas range. Dining table will accommodate 6 and seats at the bar for 4 more. The upstairs primary bedroom offers a luxurious king bed and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks, stall shower and large soaking tub.

Downstairs offers a separate family room with TV and slider that leads to the hot tub outside. This room has an American queen leather sleeper sofa which is quite comfortable. There is a hall bathroom with tub/shower and two additional bedrooms with 2 queens in one room and a bunk (2 twins) and a full bed in the other.

There is also a large 2 car garage with extended clearance for car roof boxes or ski racks!

The Talmont Estates neighborhood offers easy access to trails to Paige Meadows for hiking and mountain biking in summer and cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in winter. This home is close to Tahoe City and within 10 minutes of epic skiing at Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort and Homewood Mountain Resort. It also has Tahoe Park Private Beach privileges offering over 3 acres of lakefront amenities including picnic tables, kids play area, horseshoe pits, bocce ball, volleyball court, basketball court, two piers, swim area and more.

This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation!

There is an electric fence system at this house to protect it from bears when unoccupied. Detailed instructions will be given to you once booked.

Cleaning fee includes linens, towels, and spa cleaning. You may want to bring spa/beach towels, as those are not provided.

    The house is gorgeous and well stocked. I would recommend taking pictures and video right when you get there or they will charge you for everything that they need to fix, regardless of whether you did it or not. They were very rude to us.

    If you take pictures and videos and protect yourself, then yeah go for it.

    My extended family of 10 and one dog had a great time staying at the Stine Haus a few weeks ago, for five nights. The Est Lake Prop. host was very helpful prior to the stay with our dog situation, and that was much appreciated. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the living amenities that one could wish for - all of our living needs were well addresses. The neighborhood consists of similar houses, and was very quiet and pleasant, perfect for anytime strolls, with a hiking trail nearby. The house is also very close to town - five minutes to a small grocery, church, coffee, etc., and a few more to downtown Tahoe City. Perfect house, perfect stay!

    Stine Haus is a perfect summer getaway. The house itself is tastefully decorated with an exceptionally well appointed kitchen, real bath towels, great linens. They have not skimped on anything. The location is great for summer - a private beach a 5 minute drive from the house, access to hiking trails about a half mile from the house. And Julie at West Lake was exceptional to work with.

    I would highly recommend this house to a large family or even a couple. It is in a beautify neighborhood close to downtown Tahoe City but far enough to feel like you have your privacy. Everything was very clean and the house appears to be newly built. The hot tub was hot and great and had a view of the stars and snow in the back yard. Not a ton of privacy in the back yard but we were ok with that. The garage is huge. We have a large 4x4 SUV that doesn’t fit in a lot of garages bu this one was great. Plenty of room for two cars plus room to get around. Would definitely rent again.

    Our month in Tahoe staying in the Stine Haus was amazing. The home was perfect for our family (7 people). When we arrived the home was very clean and had everything we needed for our month in Tahoe. We loved BBQing on the deck, watching movies in the family room, great hiking just steps away and the private beach access was ideal. I would absolutely recommend the Stine Hause to others and we look forward to renting it again in the future.

    Such a beautiful home , in the perfect location. Not too far from downtown, ski resorts, or hiking trails!
    The views from inside the house and outside are amazing! VERY clean and very spacious for large groups of people.

    I would highly recommend this home to anyone and will definitely stay here again if ever in Tahoe :)
